GroupC Fixed:
The mn3 packager error that caused GroupC not work on some peoples computers has been fixed.
This is a tested and fully functional version of GroupC.
Note: While GroupC should work with all copies of D3, you must be able to select the Black Pyro (from D3 Mercenary) to use the Fang. Therefore, if you do not have D3 Mercenary installed you may not be able to use the Fang.

OVERVIEW:
"Group C 3rd Gen" is a total rework of all the ships, weapons, and countermeasures. The wide range of ship and weapon behavior allows you to use what ever mutliplay style you want, fast and close, agile and stealthy, shadowy sniper, all out power, etc... The main focus is to make every weapon and ship new, unique, useful, strategic, and really cool to watch.

SHIPS:
Each ship has modified handling, and extremely modified weapon use.
Each ship has "Favored Weapons" it can use in a uniquely powerful way.
While the Pyro can use all the weapons and is fairly balanced, the other ships dont have access to certain weapons. e.g. the Phoenix can use all but vauss.
The Magnum has been replaced by the StarHawk.
The Black Pyro has been replaced by a totally new ship, "The Fang". It is a completely new model and is fully textured. Note the screenshot shows it with the textures removed. This Fang has no engine glow and leaves no afterburn trail making it well suited for shadow.

Note, Typing "byebyemonky" will give you a 3rd person view. You may want to try this if you selected the Magnum (StarHawk) or the Black Pyro (Fang).

WEAPONS:
While the weapons still have their normal models they function vary differently. All the weapons are faster, more lethal, and aimed at strategic use. e.g. Use the drastically modified Napalm Rocket to snipe a pillbox instantly rendering it an inferno, (you have to see it...). Unleash a blizzard of the violet trailed homing cyclone missiles with the EMD, (again, this is just beautiful to watch...).

Counter measures have been replaced by actual Descent 3 robots. You can deploy them and they will autonomously operate on your side.

GAME PLAY:
Group C 3rd gen is packaged with 17 D3 levels, so it can be played immediately with anyone else who has it.

BUGS:
Group C 3rd gen has no more bugs that I know of.
In the very first version of Group C, I would get an occasional crash when using the Plasma. This is the 12th version or so (3rd Gen), plasma is no longer has Infinite range and the crash hasnt come back, so Hopefully thats fixed.
